Dr. Claudia Chaves graduated from Uberlandia University in Brazil, and completed her neurology residency training at Tufts-New England Medical Center/Tufts Neurology Program. She completed a research and then a clinical fellowship in cerebrovascular disease at New England Medical Center and Beth Israel Medical Center, respectively.
She is board certified in neurology and in vascular neurology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology. She is an associate clinical professor at Tufts University School of Medicine.
Dr. Chaves is interested in all neurological conditions, in particular cerebrovascular disease and demyelinating disorders.
